Over the last two years, Funding the Commons has grown from an events-driven initiative into a media platform amplifying thought leadership and expanding conversations around Public Goods Funding. Our efforts have focused on scaling our reach, deepening engagement, and creating enduring educational resources.
Nurturing a Highly Engaged Public Goods Funding Community
FtC has cultivated an audience of 25,000+ engaged followers, providing a dedicated space to share insights, projects, and voices shaping the future of public goods. Through X (formerly Twitter) alone, we achieved 1M+ organic impressions over the past 12 months, driving consistent awareness and participation.
Expanding Reach Beyond Web3
We expanded to LinkedIn, fostering deeper engagement with public officials, nonprofits, and NGOs to bridge Web3 innovations with institutional and policy-driven audiences. This has strengthened our role as a connector between decentralized funding mechanisms and traditional impact-driven organizations.
Launching “Open Conversations” Video Series & Interview Library
Since 2024, we have recorded 50+ unique interviews across San Francisco, Tokyo, Bangkok, Berlin, and Buenos Aires leveraging our access to thought leaders at live events to create lasting, high-production coverage of this specific moment in history.
Creating a Lasting Educational Library
FtC has produced high-quality, accessible content, including reels, interviews, and an archive of hundreds of recorded talks, ensuring key insights remain available to a global audience. To further increase accessibility, we launched our Spotify channel, allowing users to engage with conference content on the go.
